Jason comes from an advertising background, with over 10 years of experience working on both the business and creative sides of the industry on some of the most iconic brands in the world, including the likes of ESPN, USPS, Toyota, Lexus, Charles Schwab, Ritz Crackers, Johnnie Walker, and Dos Equis, just to name a few. His work has been featured in notable industry publications such as AdWeek and AdAge, while he himself has been featured in Forbes, Leafly, and several other popular cannabis outlets.
Jason serves as the driving force behind HEMPONAIR while also continuing his involvement in the advertising and media industries, consulting for various ad agencies, media companies, and brands throughout the country. He’s also involved in several startups and can often be found at various startup, tech, and cannabis industry gatherings throughout the New York City area.
JOSH GORDON
Co-Founder, Chief Marketing Officer
After conducting an industry research project on Medical Marijuana while attending Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business, Josh founded The Bureau (formerly RODAWG), a well-known packaging, sourcing, and merchandising cannabis business and one of the first true success stories from the initial cannabis boom. Since then, Josh has built up a vast rolodex of relationships with a who’s who of the cannabis space while also serving as a respected, trusted expert and commentator in the field, having been featured on CNBC as well as in notable business publications such as Fortune, Entrepreneur, and Mashable.
Today, Josh continues to run The Bureau while also serving as the Chief Marketing Officer and Business Development lead for HEMPONAIR. In addition, Josh is a minority owner of FL Cannabis Mega License and a member and speaker of the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IOPP). Josh holds an MBA from Fordham University Graduate School of Business Administration; Summa Cum Laude.
DR. JACOB M. SILVERSTONE, D.P.M.
Co-Founder, Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Jacob M. Silverstone is a Board Certified forefoot, rear-foot, and ankle reconstruction surgeon who’s trained under some of the top foot and ankle surgeons in the country. After graduating top of his class with multiple honors at The New York College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Silverstone completed his surgical residency at North Shore-LIJ Hofstra School of Medicine in New York, where he gained experience in sports medicine, trauma, and both elective and reconstructive surgery, before continuing his training alongside Fordham University’s team podiatric physician treating top athletes in their athletic program. He’s achieved multiple medical awards and honors and has served as the primary investigator in numerous clinical trials. Dr. Silverstone currently sits as the Department Chief and Residency Director at Mount Sinai Medicine Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida.
Dr. Silverstone discovered CBD after years of battling painful migraines. Surprised at the plant’s natural effectiveness, it wasn’t long before he was touting its powerful health and wellness benefits to friends, family, and colleagues, and in 2017, he started Alia Science, a hemp-based supplement company endorsed and distributed in medical offices throughout the country.
Today, Dr. Silverstone continues to bring his knowledge and expertise in cannabis to thousands of patients through Alia Science while also serving as HEMPONAIR’s lead in-house medical expert, combining his extensive experience in sports medicine, cosmetic restoration, pain management, rehabilitation, and functional reconstructive surgery with his passion for hemp, cannabis, and CBD in pursuit of integrative medicine for today’s active patient.
