STRAIN OVERVIEW
Experienced “cannaisseurs” know that there are certain strains you turn to for a quick pick-me-up and certain strains you rely on to knock you off your feet. Well friends, Bubba Kush is definitely the latter.
A powerful indica-dominant strain, Bubba Kush is a product of OG Kush and an unknown Northern Lights phenotype brought back from a New Orleans Mardis Gras festival back in 1996. This unknown plant eventually came to be known as “Bubba,” which some say is named after the initial breeder and some simply because of its genetic ambiguity. Either way, the strain that we now call Bubba Kush certainly reflects its “Bubba” calling as it packs a rather heavy punch, not to mention a bulky, dense bud structure typical of many indica strains.
As for aroma and taste, Bubba Kush offers up a sweet, hashish-like smell and flavor coupled with subtle notes of chocolate and coffee, which actually work surprisingly well with the strain’s relaxing effects. That being said, it’s still a Kush, so expect a sometimes harsh, cough-inducing exhale.

A 90/10 indica-dominant strain, Bubba Kush has gained notoriety for its heavy tranquilizing effects. With a rather high THC content ranging anywhere from 15-22%, expect a deep, body numbing high with a heavy, slow-breathing relaxation that’s perfect for just laying low and kicking back around the house.
