The marijuana edibles market has certainly blossomed over the years, with everything from cannabis-infused coffee and soda pops to chocolate bars, protein bars, and even gummies, there’s certainly no shortage of flavorful ways to ingest your favorite flower. And while the edibles market has grown substantially, so too has the art of cooking around it.
Case in point: The Stoner’s Cookbook, an online culinary destination that “helps like-minded people connect and enjoy the stunning potential of cannabis.” And they recently took that potential to a whole new level with the release of their first hardcover cookbook, Herb: Mastering the Art of Cooking with Cannabis.
Filled with over 200 pages of heady cannabis-infused recipes, gorgeous photography, detailed extraction methods, and a ton of other useful cannabis information and tidbits, the book frames the notion of cooking with cannabis in a whole new light, completely elevating the experience and giving both novices and seasoned chefs alike the opportunity to master the art of at-home cannabis cuisine.
Cannabis and cuisine. Two things you might have never heard in the same sentence up until a few years ago, but the reality is the trend is already here, and has been for years. Perhaps The New York Times put it best when they said in a recent article about the book that, “Paired with delicious recipes and the pleasures of good company, cannabis cookery might open a new dimension in dining that echoes the evolutions in the wine and cocktail cultures.” We couldn’t agree more, and after giving this cookbook a try, neither will you.
