Recently, HEMPONAIR founder Jason Lazar sat down with the folks over at global advertising agency JWT to discuss the future of cannabis. The conversation took place with JWT Intelligence—a newly created publication providing a unique blend of research, innovation, and data to tech and marketing leaders throughout the world—and was featured on their podcast, the “Next X,” which offers weekly interviews with some of the brightest, most compelling industry leaders in their respective space.
The podcast featured both Jason and Ulrika Karlberg, co-founder of cannabis skincare line Herb Essentials, and revolved around the new era of cannabis. With a wave of creative entrepreneurs and products flooding the market, the perception of cannabis is clearly changing. No longer regulated to just dorm students and hippie baby boomers, cannabis is now a go-to recreation for sophisticated, educated urbanites looking to both relax and/or enhance a night out on the town—something many of us have known and experienced for years, but are just now starting to see come out of the shadows.
