Parks Project National Parks Throwback Hat Collection ($36)

The fall is a great time to get out to our nation’s national parks and witness first-hand their sprawling natural beauty. With gorgeous fall foliage and the cooler crisp air, there’s simply no better way to welcome in the season, and Parks Project is driving that message home with a new National Parks hat collection that celebrates that outdoor feeling.

If you’re not familiar with Parks Project, they’re a not-for-profit volunteer group that creates “park goods” to help fund backlogged projects in our nation’s parks. Every product purchased contributes directly to one of over 30 different conservancies across the USA, providing vital funding for the ongoing care of our nation’s parks and ensuring they’re fit and safe for all of us to visit. The new throwback hat collection is the latest apparel collection to help further that mission, and we’re completely feeling the look and vibe.

Consisting of retro 5-panel corduroy hats with vintage front-brim roping and beautiful earth tone colors, the hats feature different park names written in classic cursive typeface for a cool throwback vibe. Parks like “Yosemite,” “Rocky Mountain,” “Joshua Tree,” Grand Canyon,” and others are represented, with the purchase of each hat helping to support programs for the U.S. National Park Service in that respective hat’s park.

For example, grabbing a Yosemite hat helps support the Yosemite Conservancy to preserve the park’s heavily used trails, while the purchase of a Joshua Tree hat helps support the planting of additional native plant species to restore the park’s habitat.

You can check out some of the hats from the collection below and view the entire collection, as well as additional Parks Project gear, at their website here.
