We’re always tickled when we come across a new piece of “stashware,” and this latest drop from minimalist travel accessories brand ULTRAOLIVE and New Balance is exactly why. While most stash pockets usually come hidden in clothing for obvious reasons, ULTRAOLIVE and New Balance have decided to make theirs a functional part of the clothing (and style) by putting it front and center—literally—right on top of their sneakers!
Inspired by one of our favorite childhood cartoons, Inspector Gadget, the “ULTRA990” kicks come with a removable reflective wallet on top to store all your green valuables when you head out for a run. Or a toke. And the Inspector Gadget-like functionality doesn’t stop there. Beyond the regular set of laces, there are also a pair on no-tie bungees to slip in and out.
