How do you compete with luxe pop-up art galleries, live performances by some of today’s biggest musicians, lavish, star-studded parties, and some of the hottest beaches in the country during one of the country’s hottest events of the year? With your very own art-filled, lavish event at one of Miami’s trendiest hotels in the heart of South Beach. Oh, and a whole lot of cannabis to boot!
Yes, Art Basel descended on the city of Miami and so did we with a delicious, chef-led, five-course infused dinner, specially crafted cocktails, local artist showcases, music, fashion, and plenty of cannabis in celebration of our favorite cultural pastime.
Set against the stunning Biscayne Bay waterfront at Miami’s Mondrian Hotel South Beach, over 75 dressed-to-impressed guests were treated to a specially curated gourmet dinner that included infused champagne vinaigrette-dressed burrata, comfit Amish chicken thighs on beds of Spanish rice with infused black bean-guajillo mole, a mojo-seared mahi-mahi with tropical fruit salsa and infused cilantro oil, rosemary-marinated skirt steaks with whipped Yukon gold potatoes and roasted wild mushrooms coupled with infused truffle bordelaise, and of course dessert—white chocolate panna cotta with freshly picked cherries and an infused nutmeg whipped cream that put a whole lot of smiles on a whole lot of faces. And that was just dinner!
Guests also enjoyed a pop-up poolside dab station helmed by Denver-based Blazy Susan, infused treats and beverages by Miami’s own Cream 305, luxe swimwear by Akosha Swimwear, elegant floral arrangements by Flower Daddy, live music and entertainment, and plenty of art from up-and-coming locals like Diane Portwood, Enrique Cirino, Erick Vilches, and more.
Of course no event featuring The Hemponair would be complete without our coveted VIP gift bags, and we delivered once again thanks to our generous partners and sponsors.
