Origins “Hello, Calm” Cannabis Sativa Face Mask ($28)
Looks like mainstream skincare brand Origins is hopping on the hemp bandwagon with a new ultra-hydrating face mask infused with natural cannabis sativa oil!
Dubbed “Hello, Calm,” the nourishing mask is specially formulated with cannabis sativa oil that’s been cold-pressed from hemp seeds, then combined with other essential oils and ingredients for a powerful and effective mask that promises to hydrate, calm, soothe, and de-stress, all without drying up. The seeds themselves are rich in essential omega-3 and omega-6 acids, which are known to help treat skin conditions like dryness and irritation, and from the brand’s research, it seems to be working.
In a one week study, Origins found that 94% of respondents said their skin felt comforted, 92% said their skin looked healthier, 88% said their skin looked less tense and fatigued, and 95% agreed that the scent itself was “de-stressing.” Whether it’s as de-stressing as just lighting one up is a whole other story, but it appears that at least from the brand’s research, it’ll definitely give your face a lift.
