As if smelling those nauseating pine tree car fresheners every time you get in an Uber isn’t painful enough, Paris-based Balenciaga thought it would be a good idea to remind you of them with their very own pine tree keychains.
Looking identical to the original Little Trees car air fresheners hanging from beat-up rearview mirrors since the 50s, Balenciaga’s versions forgo plastic in place of 100% genuine Italian leather and feature the brand’s logo etched in gold in the middle along with the address of Balenciaga’s Paris headquarters in a rectangular box at the bottom. The keychains come in a pastel-like pink and blue with just the headquarters’ zip code on the pink and the full address on the blue.
Sure, they may not mask embarrassing stenches like the one that masked your hotbox sessions back in high school, but they will cover up those embarrassing keychains you currently have dangling from your keys. Whether that’s worth coughing up $200 bucks for is another story.
