Le Herbe, the self-branded “artisan cannabis beverage maker” and creator of unique cannabis-infused beverages like Coco Loco Cannabis Water, Cold Brew Cannabis Coffee, and No. 55 Cannabis Cocktail Mixer, is looking to disrupt the food and beverage industry yet again with their latest venture, a cannabis-themed tasting room.

Currently accepting reservations just in time for summer, Le Herbe’s new tasting room will feature local craft mixologists serving complimentary samples of cannabis-infused drinks from a specially curated menu—one with exotic ingredients, extravagant garnishes, and of course, cannabis!

Otherwise known as mocktails, Le Herbe’s non-alcoholic cannabis drinks will be handcrafted as a healthy alternative to alcohol and include classics like the Mimosa, with cannabis-infused soda water in place of vodka, a Pina Colada made with cannabis coconut milk, and originals like the SoCal Spritz, the Smokin’ Rose, and the Burnt Hippie. The tasting room will also feature specially crafted coffees and teas made with Le Herbe’s Jean Paul’s Cannabis Créme, including the espresso-based Amsterdam Speedball and the matcha-based Matchin’ Fire.

“Sky’s the limit with cannabis infused drinks as long as you have a base formulation that mixes homogeneously with water”, said Le Herbe Master Blender Jean Paul.

In addition to beverages, Le Herbe will also be offering up small plates of food, albeit without THC or CBD, as Le Herbe’s preferred methods of cannabis cuisine are aperitifs or digestifs due to their more immediate effects (10-15 minutes vs 45-60).

As for the overall tasting room concept, it’s certainly a good idea now that cannabis prohibition seems to be slowly coming to an end. The option of cannabis eventually landing in every restaurant and bar in not just legalized states like California, but throughout the country, is a no-brainer for both business owners and consumers alike. There are plenty of people who prefer cannabis over alcohol, and as such, they should have the option available when dining out, especially since that option can now be had without smoking it.

The Ler Herbe Tasting room is currently taking reservations online for those 21 and over at leherbe.com/tasting-room. A 14-30 day advance notice is required.
