Working off their sportier look and feel from last season, NYC-based Ovadia & Sons continued their move towards more relaxed fits and pieces this past week at New York Fashion Week: Men’s Spring/Summer 2018. Except this time, they seemed to look to the 90’s for inspiration.

Showcasing a variety of silk souvenir jackets, retro rayon shirt, and even several pastel-colored suits, the designer brothers offered a rather colorful collection of prints and patterns that seemed to pay homage to the fashionably loud decade. As if pulling a page from Gucci’s recent playbook, there were several prominent tiger-printed pieces coupled with other wild-life patterns, including a number of ethnic-styled illustrations and designs from Ukranian street-art collective Interesni Kazki.

“We like to collab and co-create if it feels organic and makes sense for the brand,” the brothers told Hypebeast. They [Interesni Kazki] are incredibly talented artists from Kiev and their work resonated with us.”
