Outdoor Voices, the up-and-coming “active lifestyle brand” that prides itself on creating casual, everyday athletic wear more suited for a leisurely Sunday stroll than a strenuous Sunday workout, has recently teamed up with minimalist french label A.P.C. to create a casual sportswear collection that’s sure to be your new weekend go-to.

Called A.P.C.O.V., the collection really does a great job of combining the strengths of both fashion labels, seamlessly fusing A.P.C.’s knack for beautifully simple clothing with Outdoor Voices’ clean, technical performance-inspired designs and materials.

As A.P.C. founder and creative director Jean Touitou told GQ in a recent interview, “I always wanted to do sports apparel, but I cannot do it by myself. So why not find a company that’s good at it and has good taste? I’m sure there’s a lot of sports labels out there looking for a collaboration, but I wouldn’t even think about it, because I know it would be a permanent argument about the colors.”

Indeed, the new collaboration nails that sentiment, with clothing filled with textured compressions, seamless knits, and a bevy of sweat-wicking materials all wrapped up in clean, understated colors and paired-down designs that truly reflect the voice and style of both minimalist labels. A style that’s equally suited for a run to the gym as a walk to brunch.
