In celebration of Guns ‘N Roses’ 25-year “Not in this Lifetime” reunion tour and their upcoming shows this weekend at MetLife stadium, luxury rock n’ roll designer John Varvatos teamed up with GNR and Bravado, the merchandising arm of Universal Music, to launch the fashion brand’s first-ever pop-up shop inside their New York City Bowery store location, which just so happens to also be the former home of legendary rock club CBGB.

The festivities started today at noon, where a DJ spun classic GNR hits while diehard fans lined up outside the store for an exclusive free GNR “NJ Electric” event tee (for the first 50 attendees) as well as a ticket raffle giveaway for this weekend’s shows that included a special VIP “Welcome to the Jungle Experience” (a $2K value) along with an exclusive backstage VIP tour and invitation to the VIP “Paradise City” lounge. In other words, VIP all the way, which is a lot better than being amongst the masses at a packed MetLife Stadium.

The store is selling the band’s official tour merchandise featuring a range of tees ($40-$65), jackets ($500), jean vests ($250), and trucker hats ($25), in addition to an exclusive collection of the band’s merchandise that includes six one-of-a-kind painted leather jackets ($950), limited-edition numbered bomber jackets ($425), and two exclusive John Varvatos designed concert tees ($78).

“I’m a huge fan of GNR,” Varvatos told Billboard magazine, “and we are excited to welcome our friends from the band to NYC. I know there are a lot of Guns fans out there and hope they come out to celebrate with us.”

The pop-up store will remain open today until 8 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12 pm-6 pm.
