Apothecanna is an all-natural cannabis and beauty skincare line that prides itself on the use of traditional plant medicine to help cure common skin and beauty ailments, and one of the key ingredients in all their products is our favorite traditional plant medicine of all—cannabis!
According to Apothecanna’s website, the cannabis plant is composed of more than 200 types of cannabinoids (chemicals unique to the cannabis plant) whose active compounds have been shown to have both pain-killing and anti-inflammatory properties on the skin. And having used theirs and other cannabis-infused topicals in the past, we can concur—the cannabis plant’s powers aren’t just limited to being inhaled or ingested. If formulated properly, they can do wonders when applied directly onto the skin as well. And Apothecanna seems to have that magic formula down pat.
All of Apothecanna’s products use only organic and wildcrafted essential oils sourced directly from their respective native regions of the world. In fact, every ingredient they use is an ‘active’ ingredient that’s there to serve a specific therapeutic purpose, so you can rest easy knowing you won’t be applying any dangerous or unnecessary ingredients onto your skin.
