Not all famous stoners are slovenly dudes with unwashed hair dragging around a Big Lebowski robe and looking like a hot mess. In fact, some of the sexiest stars in Hollywood are self-proclaimed cannabis lovers, and they deserve some homage paid to them for going public with it.
1. Rihanna
Rihanna has never been shy regarding her appreciation for marijuana, as is evident from her notoriously unfiltered Instagram. In fact, RiRi addressed her so-called rebellion and apparent lack of PR team in an interview, saying: “I’ll never be a victim. That’s why I’m posting pictures of myself smoking pot, to tell the truth about myself. I’ve got so much to think about — why bring all this extra shit by being dishonest?” Keep it real, bae.
2. Kristen Stewart
In a 2012 Vanity Fair Interview, Kristen said, “You can Google my name, and one of the first things that comes up is images of me sitting on my front porch smoking a pipe with my ex-boyfriend and my dog.” She talks about how being in the public eye via that photo put her in the delinquent role rather than an innocent and creative Valley chick. We still see you for who you are, Kirsten!
3. Drew Barrymore
She used to be Hollywood’s wild child, but now she just likes to relax and toke. Her and her long-time Charlie’s Angels co-star Cameron Diaz were once spotted passing a joint back and forth while vacationing in Hawaii several years ago. Sounds like what we’d like to be doing right now.
4. Megan Fox
The Transformers star has been rather enthusiastic when speaking about legalization; she claims to be an avid smoker and lover of cannabis, saying “I can’t tell you how much bullsh*t I’ve been through because I will openly say that I smoke weed. I hope they legalize it, and when they do, I’ll be the first fucking person in line to buy my pack of joints.”
5. Solange Knowles
During her performance at the Pitchfork Music Festival, Solange told the crowd: “I smell a little bit of herb out there. If you have any, now is the perfect time to light it!” This famous Knowles sister shows us that you can be a family lady and still be a fan of the herb—no judgement here, but definitely less innocent than her sister Beyonce!
6. Charlize Theron
Charlize has never been the chick to stride around proclaiming her love for ganja, but from the National Enquirer photo of her breaking into a laugh after exhaling smoke from her apple bong, we have a newfound appreciation of her. An apple bong shared with Charlize Theron—now that’s one for the bucket list.
7. Anna Faris
You might remember this cutie from her Scary Movie days, but she went from cute to sexy in her stoner comedy Smiley Face, where she plays a stereotypical pothead who accidentally eats a tray of her roomie’s special cupcakes. She’s confessed to using her bong regularly to enjoy herself and celebrate, and she received High Times magazine’s Stonette of the Year award in back in ‘07.
8. Kimora Lee Simons
In a famous mugshot of Kimora, there’s a photo of her wearing a glazed-over, cheesy grin on her face that’s recognizable to any smoker. And what they found in her Mercedes Benz was pretty clear proof as well.
9. Sarah Silverman
Ms. Silverman has never been known for being PC, but she’s everybody’s dream girl: a raven-haired beauty who’s a super funny chick and also rips a bong after her late night sets? Sounds like wifey material. She’s candid about her cannabis usage in both her autobiography and her friend Doug Benson’s documentary, Super High Me.
